I saw a post on the Pentax forums today about the Manfrotto #234 Monopod head. A person was asking about using the head with a quick release plate that required a 3/8″ x 16 thread instead of the 1/4″ x 20 thread that is on the #234 head. Saturday was a chilly spring day with overcast skies, but that didn’t stop us from taking a few pictures.

I’ve been working on updating the lightning activated trigger information pages here for a while. I have built updated versions, both for Pentax via infrared, and for digital SLR cameras that can use a wired remote. The new updates should be up sometime this week. Both versions are based on an Arduino board, and will have an adjustable sensitivity via push buttons. Check back soon to see the updated info!
